“My children are able to study inside the house.”
After I started using a Pressure Cooker the health of my family members has improved a lot. Cooking in an open pot on a chulah emitted a lot of smoke and complaints like cough, breathlessness, smoke particles entering eyes, burning of eyes etc. were very common among the family members. This also affected the health of the children and they couldn’t concentrate on their studies. I had problems like knee pain and back pain because of sitting on the floor for more than 2 hours while cooking in an open pot. Using a Pressure Cooker has reduced health problems of my family and myself. Even my children are now able to study inside the house

“Has helped us save a lot of water.”
Cooking in a Pressure cooker has helped us save lot of water as very little water is required for cooking food in a pressure cooker compared to an open pot. While cooking in an open pot on Chulah, water used to flow out of the utensil and fall on the Chulah, this generated a lot of smoke and even the utensils got black. A lot of water is needed for washing these blackened utensils and this was a very tedious job.

“I have been able to save a lot of time.”
Since I started using a Pressure Cooker, I have been able to save a lot of time. I now use this spare time for agricultural activities, household cleaning, helping children in their studies and doing some side business. Earlier, while cooking in an open pot on chulah, I used to spend almost one hour in the kitchen, now using a pressure cooker helps me finish my cooking in 15 to 20 minutes and that too I don't have to be present in the kitchen all the time. Earlier used to spend almost 2 to 3 hours every day for many days walking in the jungle collecting wood for chulah. After I have started cooking in a Pressure Cooker, I go once in 10 days to collect wood.

“Earlier we needed 8 cylinders, now 4.”
Since the time I started cooking in a Pressure Cooker, my fuel consumption has reduced by 50%. Earlier, it used to take 30 to 45 minutes for cooking in an open pot on chulah, now in pressure cooker, cooking is done in 10 to 15 minutes. Earlier, in a year we needed 8 cylinders, now we are able to manage with 4 cylinders in a year. For cooking in an open pot on chulah, we either had to buy the wood or search in the jungle for almost 2 hours every 3 days. Since we started using the Pressure Cooker, we no longer have to endure those troubles.

“Food cooked in a Pressure Cooker is always nutritious and tasty.”
While cooking in the Pressure Cooker, we realised that cooking is done 100% fully in steam and hence taste, aroma and nutrients remain intact. Whereas if you cook in the open utensil, the taste, aroma and nutrients of food disappears and there is a possibility of the food getting burnt at the bottom. This does not happen in a pressure cooker and the food cooked in a Pressure Cooker is always nutritious and tasty.
