The Hawkins Test Kitchen
The Test Kitchen is a part of the Research & Development efforts of Hawkins. It is a R&D facility recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).
The Test Kitchen writes instructions for the user, develops recipes and solves customer problems. Established in 1984, it has since then tested hundreds of products before launch. If a prototype has some issues the Test Kitchen sends it back to the R&D Centre for improving the design. The Test Kitchen tests products from the consumer’s point of view. All Cookbooks and Instructions Manuals are written by the Hawkins Test Kitchen.
The Test Kitchen not only tests products and recipes, but it also does fundamental research to better understand Pressure Cooking and its benefits.
